Ron Feller , a Providence Point resident since 2014 , shares his insights for enjoying retirement .

My wife , Marjon , and I moved several times throughout my
my position as VP of Manufacturing for Unilever we retired to Sarasota , Fla . where we volunteered , met new friends , golfed , and enjoyed time in the sun . It was a good move .
we wanted to be closer to our growing family . We were not from Pittsburgh , but learned about Providence Point from our son who lives in Mt . Lebanon . We toured , selected a beautiful two-bedroom apartment with a sunroom , and moved in late 2014 . Being from Ohio originally , we were familiar with Pittsburgh-style weather , but at Providence Point , we could go to dining
going outside . Plus , our grandchildren and great grandchildren live nearby and could visit frequently . It was a great move .
Unfortunately , Marjon became ill and passed away in 2017 . I was grateful to be near family and have the support of our friends and the caring Providence Point healthcare team .
I continue to be very involved at Providence Point . I bowl , I play bocce , billiards and pool volleyball . I even

and head to Florida , or take a cruise , or some other fun
