This free event is for parents-to-be , parents of babies , and babies from birth to 18 months . Enjoy cake , songs , games , and the latest Best Books for Babies recommended by the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh . Created by a panel of local librarians and child development experts , this nationally recognized guide assists parents , teachers , and caregivers in selecting quality materials to share with babies from birth to 18 months . Registration is required Saturday , March 12 and is limited to 15 couples / families .
