Over the past 15 years, she has not only been representing buyers and sellers in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, but she’s also recently opened Realty One Group Gold Standard with her business partner, Mike Hanlon, to better serve her clients and to change agents’ lives. “The best part of my job is working directly with the clients. When I first started out, my background in graphic design set me apart in the marketplace. Today, being on the cutting edge of technology helps me put more homes in front of more people,” she said. “I don’t know of many other Realtors out there who can say they can get 90,000 views on a property’s listing with their marketing and social outreach.” Her accomplishments in marketing homes for her clients earned her recognition as one of the Top 500 Marketers in the U.S., an award that she holds most dear, next to Realty One Group Gold Standard’s winning Best of the Best in Washington County for Real Estate after just 10 months in existence. “In this business, the better I do at marketing homes for my clients, the more opportunities open up for me and the more lives I get to positively affect,” she said. “As an owner of Realty One Group Gold Standard, I can affect someone’s life every single day in a positive way, whether they’re buyers or sellers, friends, family, associates or our many Realty One Group agents. Being a positive force for people has always been a goal for me.” Averaging 65-75 transactions a year, Malush said that part of her strategy for success includes constantly training and learning about new avenues to get homes in front of an audience plus her unique pricing model. “I have an 8-step process on how to price a home. I have created this system to help a seller better price their home to sell faster and for more money,” she said. “It also gives me the ability to honestly share my years of experience with them.” Malush’s dedication to her clients is a way of giving back for the blessings in her life, she said. After 20 years together, she married Jason a year and a half ago and said that their faith was the key to their success, success she wants to share. “If you do this job right, it’s far more than just a transaction,” she said. “I stay in touch with clients. I recently met with a former buyer who’s now a seller and it was truly a sad day for me because she’s moving out of the area and it was the last time I will ever see her. You really can walk away friends in this business and if you’re a good agent, you should walk away friends all the time.” For more information on Dionne Malush and her team, including all of her current and featured listings, go to dionnemalush.com.
