THE ABBEY PLAYERS PRESENT 10TH YEAR
ANNIVERSARY SHOWCASE
This season marks The Abbey
Players’ 10th year as a community
theater troupe, sponsored by St.
Benedict the Abbot. Over the years,
the troupe has put on many full-scale
productions and contributed thousands
of dollars to various charities including
Relay for Life and CCFA.
On Saturday, Nov. 24, The Abbey
Players celebrated with an Anniversary Showcase that featured performances
from troupe members past and present.
The concert began at 2 p.m. and was
held in the Pope Benedict Center.
Donations were collected to benefit the
Peters Township Food Pantry.

The 15th annual Keep Pennsylvania
Beautiful Great American Cleanup
of PA can help get you started. From

will partake in litter and illegal dump
cleanups, beautification projects such
as tree and flower plantings, recycling
collections and education programs.

with PennDOT, the Department of
Environmental Protection, and Keep
America Beautiful to provide free
trash bags, gloves, and safety vests to
registered participants, as supplies last.
During Let’s Pick It Up PA—every
day from April 13 through May 6—
cleanups registered with the Great
American Cleanup of PA are eligible to
take their trash to participating landfills
free of charge or for a reduced rate.
