Senior Memories Video Venture
Do you want to preserve some of those great stories that you, your parents, friends, and neighbors have shared over the years? Our Senior Memories video project is the answer! The goal of this project is to capture, on video and in their own words, the special memories of the senior citizens of Washington County.
We’ re looking for residents of Washington County 60 years of age or older who are:
• Willing to share and clearly tell on camera a very specific, relatable, 2 to 3 minute story of something that happened to them in the past
• Willing to provide 2 to 4 photos of themselves at the time of the story and / or photos of other people, locations, or events related to the story
The Senior Memories videos will be stored on DVDs and distributed to the 20 local libraries in the WAGGIN Library system, as well as on The Observer-Reporter website, Peters Township Public Library web site and YouTube channel. This project is produced with support from The Peters Township Library Foundation.
