caregivers can now explore a NEW series of learning opportunities at the library. The Play K display allows children to“ play Kindergarten” using materials from six different themed playscapes. Within each playscape, the nine key learning areas for PA’ s Learning Standards for Early Childhood are reinforced as children play and participate in the activities. My Colorful World, All Around Town and Let’ s Go Shopping are just a few of the playscapes that will be on display on a rotating basis. Contact the Youth Services Department for more information. This program and supporting materials is made possible through a grant from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries as part of its Cruise Into Kindergarten initiative. eters Township
