Lisa Paris knew that she wanted to be a stylist from an early age , but not just another stylist — one that was constantly rededicating herself to the cutting edge of the field . A top producer in a regional salon for 21 years , Lisa struck out on her own . Now , she ’ s not only one of the premier stylists in the region , but a professional trainer who educates others in the field . And , she ’ s brought her daughter , Paige , into the mix , who equals her mother ’ s dedication to the craft and is herself a renowned teacher .
“ We ’ re a mother-daughter salon , but we train everyone . Paige has followed in my footsteps , training in everything she could , and loving this business as much as I do ,” Lisa said . “ I knew when we opened up that I wanted something for the community that was high-quality , but reasonably priced , and I think we ’ ve succeeded in that .”
Lisa and Paige have traveled extensively to learn the fine details of hair care , from trending cuts and techniques to products that deliver where others fail . Being trained in names like Vidal Sassoon , Jacques Dessange , techniques of balayage and more has taken the team all over the globe .
“ We ’ ve been to the West Coast , New York , France , Milan , all over the world , furthering our education and dedication to this art ,” Lisa said . “ We ’ re always on the up-and-up as far as our techniques and the trends . Whatever trends come
out , we ’ ll know about them . We always want to do the best job possible for our clients in a warm and welcoming environment .”
Trends like hand-tied extensions , which are all the rage right now , are an example of where Lisa Paris Salon shines . Carrying names like Covet & Mane , Weft and DreamCatchers , hand-tied extensions prevent breakage , while adding length and fullness . The technique does wonders visually , while keeping hair healthier .
Caring for that style once you leave the salon is another area where Lisa Paris Salon excels . It carries products that can ’ t be found elsewhere , like Kevin Murphy , which uses all natural and PETA-approved materials packaged in recyclable containers .
“ Kevin Murphy is a rare line of products to be able to carry . It ’ s all sulfate-free and is really the best of the best ,” Lisa said . “ Paige was sent to Orange County to train with the products and now she teaches Kevin Murphy color techniques all up and down the East Coast .”
The newest addition to the salon staff , Melissa Stewart , specializes in waxing , facials , dermaplane , henna eyebrow tinting as well as lash lift , tint and extensions . Lisa says she welcomes anyone who wants to work in the field and shares their love of hair and hair care to apply .
