Week, kids all over the country will be
participating in Hour of Code™ events. Stop
by for an Hour of Code™ challenge featuring
Steve & Alex from Minecraft. You
will complete activities by creating lines of
code and lend a hand to Steve & Alex on their
adventures. Learn more about computer science and coding
with your friends while you enjoy some fun treats. Come one
day or both!

Welcome your little ones with the best books! This free event is
for parents-to-be, parents of babies, and babies age birth to 18
months. Enjoy cake, songs, games, and books. You will receive a
book to take home and a chance to win a raffle basket filled with
the latest “Best Books for Babies” recommended by the Carnegie
Library of Pittsburgh. It’s never too early to start reading to your
baby because learning begins at birth.
HOT CHOCOLATE BINGO

Warm up on a cold winter night with a nice cup of hot chocolate
– and BINGO! Lots of prizes and hot chocolate for everyone!
PRESCHOOL-A-PALOOZA

Finding the right preschool for your child is an exciting but
sometimes stressful task. To help you gather the information
you need all in one place to make the best choice, the library
will host our annual preschool fair. While you ask questions of
representatives from area preschools, your kiddos can enjoy
activities planned by the library staff.
