methods for un-acceptable waste, commercial chemicals or household hazardous waste in containers larger than five gallons in size, please contact the
Operations Service Center (800) 449-7587.
As of January 1, 2019, Peters Township residents will have a
convenient new opportunity to dispose of Household Hazardous
Waste (HHW) – safely, easily, and responsibility. The new
program is called At Your Door Special
Collection, a residential service offered by
Waste Management to provide year-
round collections for HHW. Be on
the lookout for a mailing from
Waste Management which will
detail the process of how to
schedule a HHW pickup.

There will be no extra fees for this service; the HHW program
is included with your normal quarterly bill. Information on
this program will also be posted on Peters Township’s website,
www.peterstownship.com. This program will replace the HWW
collection that was held every other year at the
Public Works Building.
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
As of January 1, 2019, Peters Township residents will have
a new opportunity to dispose of electronic devices. Be on the
lookout for a mailing from Waste Management which will detail
the process of how to schedule an electronic recycling pickup.
The items will be picked up at your doorstop and properly
recycled. The electronic devices eligible for this service include
televisions, computers, printers, and various other items. Please

Information on this program will also be posted on Peters
