PTFD OPEN HOUSE
This year’s Peters Township Volunteer
Fire Department’s Open House was held
on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to
3 p.m. This event led into National Fire
Prevention Week—a nationally observed
week for fire prevention awareness. This
year’s theme was “Every Second Counts:
Plan 2 Ways Out,” and reinforced why
everyone needs to have an escape plan
and two exits from each room, along with
a path to the outside from each exit.
