Thanks to The Peters Township Library Foundation mail drive, the
library has been receiving donation envelopes on a daily basis! We love
checking our mailbox each day to find more envelopes filled with our
community’s generosity. There is still time for your end of the year
tax-deductible gift to the Foundation’s mail drive, or by clicking
our Donate button online at ptlibrary.org. As a donor you have the
opportunity to contribute to the library – the thread that holds together
the fabric of our community.

Playaway:
A Playaway is a portable media player designed
for libraries. When it comes to audiobook formats,
Playaways are a great choice! Unlike audio CD’s or
downloads, a Playaway does not need a separate
player. Instead, they come pre-loaded with a single
audiobook and ready to use. At only two ounces
and five narration speeds, you can easily listen
at your own pace. Plug in your own
earbuds or auxiliary cord to listen on
the go. Earbuds and auxiliary cords
are available at the Circulation Desk
for a small fee. Look for our Playaway
collection on the first floor.
Playaways can be borrowed from
the library for a two-week period.
OverDrive:
Did you know you can borrow audiobooks for
free from the library? All you need is your WAGGIN
card and an Internet connection. You can search
through 1,000 downloadable audiobooks available
24/7 with no late fees since titles are automatically
returned. You can browse titles, place holds, and
create wish lists. OverDrive has several tutorials on
getting started, how to borrow, read,
and return eBooks and audiobooks,
and how to use the OverDrive app
and Libby – a ground-breaking
eBook reader and audiobook
player. OverDrive books can be
checked out digitally for either
7 or 14 days. Can’t find what
you want? To recommend
a title for audio, email
