OPEN HOUSE
This year’s Peters Township Volunteer
Fire Department’s Open House was held
on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to
3 p.m. The event kicked off National Fire
Prevention Week, which is a nationwide
observed week for fire prevention
awareness. This year’s theme was “Don’t
Wait, Check the Date!” and focused
on the importance of replacing smoke
alarms every 10 years.
