Car Seat Safety Installation Checks
Did you know that 73 % of car seats are being installed incorrectly? A free car seat inspection with a certified technician can check the installation of your car seat and / or booster seat. The Fire Dept. typically schedules appointments Tuesday – Friday after 4:00 p. m. or anytime on weekends. Contact the Fire Department at 724-941-4176 to schedule your appointment!
Home Safety Inspections
The Fire Department has Fire Inspectors on each shift. Upon request, our team can check the interior and exterior of your home. Items that are checked include: smoke / CO detectors, fire extinguishers, dryer vents, electrical outlets / panels / switches. Contact the Fire Department at 724-941-4176 if you wish to schedule a home inspection!

Peters Township is a combination fire department comprised of career and volunteer firefighters that work together to create a safer community.
