CHESS CLUB For Grades 1 to 6 Beginner’ s Chess, second Monday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Intermediate Chess, third Tuesday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Frank Gavlak, our local chess expert, will be sharing chess techniques and skills to make your game even better.
WILD KRATT WEDNESDAY For Pre-K and up Second Wednesday of the month, 12:15 to 12:45 p. m. August 13 & September 10 Bring a bag lunch and picnic as you watch nature unfold with the Kratt brothers on the big screen.

AMERICAN GIRL BOOK CLUB For grades 2 to 4 Third Thursday of the month, 6:30 to 7:15 p. m. Join us each month for a book club featuring books from the American Girl series! August 21: Kaya, The Journey Begins September 18: Josefina, Sunlight and Shadows
FAMILY LEGO NIGHT For the whole family Fourth Monday of the month, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. August 25 & September 22 Build Legos together as a family. Create and name your design to be displayed in the Youth Services Department.
PAWS FOR READING For Pre-K and up Second Saturday of the month, 10 to 11:30 a. m. August 9 & September 13 We are excited to host certified therapy dogs at the library. Register online for your 20-minute time slot to read to these furry friends.
BACK TO SCHOOL BINGO For the whole family Monday, September 29, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Before you get too bogged down with homework, join Ms. Linda for an evening of old-fashioned, fun, BINGO. We will play several rounds, while we kick back, laugh, and win prizes.
COSTUME SWAP Instead of purchasing new costumes each year, we are encouraging the community to swap their slightly used costumes at the library. You can participate by dropping off gently used costumes for children, teens, or adults on Thursday, October 2 or Friday, October 3. Participants will get a token for each costume donated. Return Saturday, October 4 with your tokens to shop the swap.
