Congratulations to the Class of 2023
On Friday , June 9 , 2023 , Peters Township celebrated the commencement of 294 members of the Class of 2023 . It is with great pride that we share our list of graduates and photo highlights of this important milestone for our students . Commencement is the culmination of years of growth , learning , and perseverance as these exceptional individuals transition into the leaders , scholars , and trailblazers of tomorrow . Thank you to the Class of 2023 and their families for letting us be a part of their journey .
Thirty-nine students were honored with the distinction of being a PT Scholar having completed their senior year with a weighted grade point average of 5.0 or higher . These students were : Joseph Bedillion , Samantha Bewick , Seth Bockman , Yunjoe Chang , Anna Chaudhari , Ryan Deegan , Mia Falbo , Kathryn Ghobrial , Aidan Green , Zachary Griffith , Mariko Grim , Rachel Hardy , Rebecca Harvey , Rhea Khettry , Jacob Langlois , Mason Lewis , Allan Liu , Tess Lozar , Gabriella Manzari , Luke Markowski , Jacob McConaughy , Ryder Mertens , Lauren Miller , Alexander Milliken , Matthew Milliken , Adisyn Moorhead , Ryan Myers , Vienna Nolan , Brittan Oglesby , Abigail O ’ Korn , Graden Olson , Gabrielle Sadowski , Julia Scarton , Christina Sefer , Christopher Severns , Griffin Stroud , Steven Suchko , Grace Trax and Rachel Zeisloft .
Overall , the Class of 2023 received more than $ 3.9 million in scholarships and the most popular fields of future study were engineering , business and medicine / health care . The top five attending universities for our graduates were : Pennsylvania State University , University of Pittsburgh , Duquesne University , West Virginia University and Community College of Allegheny County .
