CROCHET & KNITTING CLUB Second Thursday of the Month , 6 to 7 p . m . ( Aug . 10 & Sept . 14 ) Crocheters and knitters are welcome to our monthly club . Bring your own projects and share stitches with friends . This class does not have a teaching component . Please check our event calendar for craft classes with instructors . Registration is required .
STAMP CLUB Third Tuesday of the Month , 6:30 to 7:45 p . m . ( Aug . 15 & Sept . 19 ) New members are always welcome to share stamps and peruse the collections of other philatelists at our monthly meetings . No registration is necessary . The Stamp Club does not offer appraisals or purchase collections .

COOKBOOK CLUB Select Mondays , 6 to 7:30 p . m . The Cookbook Club meets bimonthly on the third Monday , featuring dinners and recipe challenges . Registration is required in person at the Circulation Desk and opens one month before the meeting date . Library staff will choose cookbooks for your recipe selection . Visit the area behind the Circulation Desk to view the cookbooks from our collection and sign-up for your recipe so we can enjoy a variety of dishes together ! NEW ! CRAFTERNOON CLUB First Thursday of the Month , 1 to 3 p . m . Reading Room , 2nd floor Visit the library monthly and follow easy instructions to create a different craft or art project . We will provide crafting supplies , or you can bring your own project . This program is for adults . Registration is not required . Sept . 7 : Make a beautiful centerpiece from an old book . Oct . 5 : Create spooky home décor as we cut out bats and cats and create a Halloween garland .
LENSSHOOTERS PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Second Wednesday of the Month , 6:30 to 7:45 p . m . ( Sept . 13 , Oct . 11 ) All levels of experience are welcome to this monthly photography club . Share your photos with friends , participate in monthly photography challenges , and learn different techniques from various speakers . This monthly meeting is organized and presented by the Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Association . No meeting in August . Registration is requested .
