GARBAGE COLLECTION DISCOUNTS
Senior Citizen Discount Peters Township senior citizens, age 65 and over, are eligible for a 10 % discount on garbage service. Residents can receive a discount( starting with your next bill) by providing a photo ID that includes your date of birth and current address. Stop by the Municipal Building to register, fax your photo ID to 724.942.5022, or e-mail it to Tom Gromek at TGromek @ peterstownship. com with a subject of Senior Garbage Discount. Income-Based Discount There is an income-based discount for residents who meet both sets of criteria listed below. Residents may only obtain one discount at a time: either the Senior Discount or the Income-Based Discount.
• Senior Citizens( 65 and over) OR
• Widows or Widowers aged 50 or over OR
• Disabled AND
• Have an Annual Income Below $ 35,000( Tax Return is Required)
