SOUTH ARTS PITTSBURGH TO HOST ART SHOW AT THE SCHOOLHOUSE
South Arts Pittsburgh is hosting a twoday art show on Saturday , May 4 , and Sunday , May 5 , from 9 a . m . to 3 p . m . It will be held at the Schoolhouse Arts & History Center , 2600 South Park Road in Bethel Park .
The Schoolhouse Art Show will include an artists market with local vendors displaying / selling their work throughout the first floor , and South Arts members ’ artwork for sale in one of the classrooms of the historical schoolhouse .
Artwork and photos are framed and ready to hang in your home or given as a thoughtful gift . Check out the variety of original artwork and photography by local artists . Jewelry , cards and matted prints will also be available . Cash , checks or credit cards accepted .
Your support of local artists is greatly appreciated . There will be a basket raffle with chances to win artwork and other local business items . The proceeds from the basket raffle will be donated to the Bethel Park Historical Society for its continued improvements to the building .
Reginald ’ s Coffee will be open to purchase coffee / tea while you peruse art . When you visit Reginald ’ s , be sure to check out South Arts members ’ art exhibition in the lobby . Art is available for purchase and 10 % of each sale goes to the historical society for the improvements to the Schoolhouse .

LABOURÉ LADIES GUILD TO HOLD ANNUAL FLEA MARKET
The Labouré Ladies Guild of St . Catherine Labouré Parish will hold its annual flea market , “ Timeless Treasures ,” from 9 a . m . to 5 p . m . on Friday , July 19 , and 9 a . m . to 1 p . m . on Saturday , July 20 , at St . Louise deMarillac Church in the LeGras Parish Center ( lower level ), located at 320 McMurray Road in Upper St . Clair .
Sale items will include jewelry , gently used children ’ s clothing to size 6 , toys , decorative items , knickknacks , kitchen items , holiday decorations , linens , tools , books , some furniture and much more . There will also be a boutique offering better-quality items .

PAP TO HOST SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT LUNCHEON
The Pittsburgh Alumnae Panhellenic , a chapter of the National Panhellenic Conference comprised of 26 women ’ s fraternal organizations , will be hosting a scholarship benefit luncheon on Saturday , April 13 , at South Hills Country Club ( 4305 Brownsville Road in Whitehall ).
Proceeds from the luncheon benefit collegiate women pursuing an undergraduate degree who either live in the greater Pittsburgh area or attend a local university served by alumnae chapters .
This year ’ s event , titled “ Growing Strong Women ,” will feature a welcome by KDKA-TV anchor Kym Gable and a fashion show . A gift basket auction and a cash bar will also be available .

LOCAL PODCASTER HITS 100TH EPISODE
The podcast Spill with Me Jenny D was created by a Peters Township mom , Jennifer DiLucia . Jenny D started it two years ago , in January of 2022 , and recently celebrated her 100th episode . The podcast is a platform for men and women to share their stories and life experiences .
KEYNOTES MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION 2024
Keynotes is accepting applications for its 2024 music scholarship competition , which will be held May 11 at the Fine Arts Theatre of Mt . Lebanon High School . Cash awards totaling more than $ 16,000 will be available .
Requirements are : Instrumentalists must be under 26 years of age by June 1 and vocalists must be under the age of 30 ; the student must be a full-time music major at a college , university or music school or a graduating high school senior accepted for admission as a full-time music major ; and contestants must be current legal residents of Pennsylvania for one year , or if out-of-state , attending a school in Pennsylvania and can provide proof of a PA address — apartment or campus address ( school mailings ) or utility bills .
