CHERNOBYL: THE WORLD’S
GREATEST NUCLEAR DISASTER

Michael Haritan, a Pittsburgh-
based commercial photographer
visited Chernobyl to document the
site of what has been described
as the worst nuclear disaster the world has ever seen (April 26,
1986). On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the disaster, Haritan
will present his photos and the forgotten stories of a people
and place.
POETRY READING: WHEN NOT YET IS NOW

Please join us as we welcome Dr. Samuel Hazo to discuss his
recently published poetry collection, When Not Yet Is Now, his
thirteenth collection of poems, followed by a book signing. As
in all his work, Hazo finds the quiet nobility in the everyday,
ordinary, and commonplace.

interviews with Habsburg descendants,
scholar James Longo explores the roots
of Hitler’s determination to destroy the
family of the assassinated Archduke Franz
Ferdinand through his book, Hitler and the
Habsburgs: The Fuhrer’s Vendetta Against
the Austrian Royals. Hear the author
discuss his book, followed by a book signing and refreshments.
