How did this son of a glove maker become the most successful playwright of his time? How did the First Folio, a collection of his poetry and 37 plays, become the most quoted work by a single author? And, finally, how does Shakespeare still have an impact on our lives today? Jane Hollman, a former high school English teacher and fervent Shakespeare fan, will provide some background of the English Renaissance and of Shakespeare’s contributions to his time.
