What is it about spring that you love? Is it simply the outdoor tennis? High
School Tennis? The French Open? USTA League Play? Cardio Tennis? Peters
Township USTA Tournaments? Or is it, of course, clay courts without a bubble over
top? Yes, we hear you!
While we anticipate play in the great outdoors, we do have some more indoor
programming for you to enjoy including:
• USTA Leagues are forming for the 2016 summer season! Is your team ready
for match play? New to the Tennis Center is Jerry’s video analysis. Check
out Jerry’s drill courts on Mondays and Tuesdays, or join him for our newest
programming, USTA singles and doubles clinics and get your very own video
check up! We provide USPTA and PTR certified instructors to evaluate and
improve your game with the use of on court video. On Mondays and Fridays
at 11 a.m., we are offering video analysis for team “court positioning” and
individual “stroke technique analysis”. Jerry plans to continue this exciting
program in the summer as well! Call the Pro Shop and get the details.
• One word can best describe Lisa’s Cardio Classes: “Rockin’!” Before you see the
action on court, you can hear the music playing as you are walking into the
Bubble. This very fun, exciting and aerobic mainstay of the Tennis Center
happens on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-11 a.m. Regardless of your level
of play, you can participate and improve your game and your conditioning.
Call the tennis center for more details.
• Finally, Brandt Bowman continues his winning ways with the Boys High School
Tennis practices on Fridays from 4 – 6 p.m. in preparation of another successful
season! Come join Brandt, Bill, Chuck and Steve as they get these players
ready for another run at a state title!
