Alexander Corn , owner of Verona Gun Safe , didn ’ t grow up around guns . When he decided he would like to own a gun for protection , he visited some gun shops in the Indianapolis area where he was living , to get more information . The reception was less than cordial :

Alex ’ s own mother was no exception . When he decided to buy a gun years ago , his mother was apprehensive . When he decided to open his own gun shop , not surprisingly , she was less than enthusiastic . Now , 10 years later , his mother has recently bought her own gun and has completed two safety training courses this summer !
Alex is a big advocate for getting the necessary training to operate a firearm safely . He recommends private sportsmen ’ s clubs where new owners can practice . These clubs typically offer safety training for all levels of gun owners .
