TIME TO LET THE DOGS OUT!
Everyone and their dogs are flocking to the Penn Hills Dog Park! it’ s open daily from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m., Mar. through Dec. It offer a nice area for your dog to be able to stretch his legs, with a fenced area for running off-leash. It’ s a lovely place to take your best friend, while meeting other dog owners.
Please note: There are no restroom facilities, and there is no water source for you pet. So be sure to bring water for them, especially on hot days.

OAKMONT HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Oakmont Historical Society honors our past by preserving it for future generations. Located at 628 Allegheny River Blvd., the society has historical artifacts from many different eras at its museum.
The society is now welcoming memorabilia and personal memories from the 2025 U. S. Open Golf Championship.

THE PENN HILLS GARDEN CLUB & MORROW BARN
The garden club is over 100 years old! For more than a century, it has been an active group that remains relevant with contemporary projects that protect the natural world. It provides education on the most innovative gardening techniques, as well as time-tested methods. Also, the Penn Hills Garden Club makes its home in the historic Morrow Barn! This local treasure was built in 1834. Located at 237 Jefferson Road, the barn is constructed of hand-hewn virgin oak, and was at one time part of the Morrow Family Farm. The barn has been the home of the garden club since 1928.
It is also the setting for the Penn Hills Coffeehouse, where locals can come and enjoy great bands and entertainment in the historic setting.
The Morrow Barn is also available for private functions, such as birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, business meetings and fundraisers. For more information on renting the barn, visit pennhillsbanquethall. net.
