FUN IN CRESCENT HILLS!
If you live in the Crescent Hills area of Penn Hills, the Crescent Hills Civic Association is a great organization to know.
This group was formed in 1935 and helps support local parks and trails, and engages in others activities to support the community. It hosts more than 30 fundraisers and events throughout the year.

IT’ S HISTORIC!
The Verona Historical Society has interesting programs on tap for the fall!
On Oct. 16, Gary Rogers of the Oakmont Historical Society will present“ Prohibition in Oakmont & Verona” at 7 p. m. in the Verona Municipal Building. This lecture will shed some light on a murky time in our nation’ s history, and how it affected the local communities.
On Nov. 20, Beth Caporali will present“ The History of Vandergrift,” offering a look at this diminutive but fascinating area.

PH ATHLETICS CASINO NIGHT!
Penn Hills Athletics is holding the Casino & Clubs After Dark event on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 10:30 p. m. at the Green Oaks Country Club.
Guests can play nine holes of Glow Golf or try their luck with the casino games! Tickets are $ 100 per person and include dinner, dessert, a drink ticket, a gift, and a choice of participating in Glow Golf or the casino.

FEATURED EXHIBIT AT THE KERR!
The Kerr Memorial Museum is presenting“ Thomas, Jessie, Virginia: Meet the Kerr Family” through October.
This is a unique opportunity to see an exhibit that highlights the Kerrs who lived in the historical home well into the 20th century. It is a bit of a departure, turning the focus from the Victorian inhabitants to the more recent family members.
