Congratulations, Norwin Band!
The Norwin band was crowned the Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion at the Bands of America Competition at University of Delaware, Newark, DE, on October 7, 2017. Norwin competed against 28 bands from 9 states. The band finished with a score of 80.40 and took home the awards for Outstanding General Effect and Outstanding Music Performance.
The Norwin Band also was named Class AAAA Champions at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association( PIMBA) Championship, which was held Saturday, October 21st at Gateway High School. The Norwin Band was named winner in the categories of High Music, High Visual, and High General Effect. The PIMBA Championship was the culminating event to what has been a terrific season of performances, adjudication and growth of all ensembles.( Photo by Frank Rossi Jr)
