Congratulations , Norwin Band !
The Norwin band was crowned the Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion at the Bands of America Competition at University of Delaware , Newark , DE , on October 7 , 2017 . Norwin competed against 28 bands from 9 states . The band finished with a score of 80.40 and took home the awards for Outstanding General Effect and Outstanding Music Performance .
The Norwin Band also was named Class AAAA Champions at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association ( PIMBA ) Championship , which was held Saturday , October 21st at Gateway High School . The Norwin Band was named winner in the categories of High Music , High Visual , and High General Effect . The PIMBA Championship was the culminating event to what has been a terrific season of performances , adjudication and growth of all ensembles . ( Photo by Frank Rossi Jr )
