The Jeremy Dentel Memorial Golf Tournament is held in honor of Jeremy , who died tragically in 2022 . He was very involved with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh , so the organization developed the Jeremy Dentel Emergency Medical Fund as a tribute . It helps underwrite the cost of care for animals recovering from abuse , neglect , or injuries suffered from a traumatic event . This golf outing will further raise money for the fund .
