STEM Day at Hahntown Elementary School
H
ahntown students enjoyed a STEM Day on May 9, 2019, during which
local professionals in STEM-related careers visited Hahntown and
spoke about their work, offering hands-on learning experiences.
This year, 14 there were local presenters. At left is a photo of Dr. Steven
Gribar’s presentation. Dr. Gribar is a General Surgeon at Excela Health. For
STEM Day, he shared a broad overview of what he does at work and gave the
students the opportunity to perform some “skills” with a few types of surgical
instrumentation.
