Senior Citizens’ Dinner Draws
More than 400 People from
Norwin Community
More than 400 senior citizens enjoyed the
32nd annual Senior Citizens Dinner on Sunday,
April 22, 2018.
Norwin Student Council hosted this free
dinner and program, which has become a staple
of the Norwin community.
With the 2018 theme of “The Golden Years:
Thank You for Being a Friend,” the Norwin
Student Council thanked the community’s
seniors by celebrating them and by establishing
multi-generational friendships. In addition
to a delightful meal, seniors were treated
to performances from Norwin’s Show Choir
and Select Orchestra and were welcome to
participate in Door Prize Raffle.
Teachers Mr. Patrick MacLaughlin and Mr.
Kevin Chitester co-direct the Student Council at
the High School.
