On December 5, 2017, eleven of the German
College in High School students went to Hahntown
Elementary School to talk to the Kindergarten
students about the German tradition of Nikolaus’
Eve (which is on December 5). They showed pictures,
told the students where the tradition is believed
to come from, and answered the questions of the
Kindergarten students who were very interested

fun event ended with the Kindergarten students
working on a craft that included Nikolaus boots,

High School students.
