NORWIN ROTARY 7TH ANNUAL CHILI COOKOFF & WING THING
The 7th Annual Chili Cookoff & Wing Thing took place on Thursday, March 2, from 5 to 8 p. m. at various locations in downtown Irwin including The Colonial Grille, Café Supreme, Cheesecake Caffe, Irwin Masonic Hall and First United Methodist Church. The event was sponsored by the Norwin Rotary as its primary fundraiser toward providing support for the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project.
In its seventh year, the Norwin Rotary Back Pack Project has provided children in need with back packs full of nutritional, kid-friendly food that will sustain them for an entire weekend. The Norwin Rotary partnered with the Irwin Business and Professional Association to raise money for the cause.
