Flight 93 National Memorial Presentation
Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6 p. m. On Sept 11, 2001, the U. S. came under attack. Because of the actions of passengers and crew aboard Flight 93, the attack on the U. S. Capitol was thwarted. Join us as a park ranger from the Flight 93 National Memorial details the history of that tragic day. He will also highlight the memorial that is a lasting tribute to the heroes who lost their lives.
Trivia Night at the Library

Do you think you can answer 50 general knowledge trivia questions? This is a team competition with a maximum of five on a team.
Step Away From the Computer!( Find Adventure in Family History Field Trips)

When it comes to family tree research, it’ s really not“ all online.” Although the amount of information that you can access with your computer is staggering, only a small percentage of our historical records are currently available on the popular genealogy websites. If you aren’ t willing to“ Step Away From the Computer” you will miss some of the clues you need to solve your family tree mysteries.
This program explores the topic of taking family history field trips and is full of practical advice about how to prepare and how to make the most of your time“ in the field.”

Monday, Nov. 10 at 6 p. m. Learn to make Christmas trees and other holiday inspired origami crafts all from book pages. Ages 16 and over.

Stranger Things Trivia
Monday, Oct. 27 at 6 p. m.
Get ready for the final season by testing your team’ s knowledge of the show.
Each team must consist of the following:
• 2-6 players
• At least 1 child( aged 10-17 years old)
• At least 1 adult( 18 + years old)
Smaller teams may be combined with others, at library’ s discretion. A Stranger Things prize will be rewarded to the winning team.
Halloween Story Walk
Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 6 p. m.
Come dressed in your Halloween costume and take a walk around the library for a Halloween themed story, games, and activities. Treats will be provided, so please bring a small bag. Space is limited, one or two adults per family only, please. All ages welcome.
Welcome to the Wild West
Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 6 p. m.
Take a trip back to the Wild Wild West. We will be“ bowling over” the bad guys with a bowling game, tossing horse shoes, making a cactus craft, and delivering mail with the Pony Express. This program’ s activities are geared for those in Pre-K-2nd graders.
Stuffies Night Out
Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6 p. m. To get you in the holiday feasting mood, this session of Stuffies is all about pie! After a story, the whole family will engage in pie related activities including a craft, felt board activity, motor skills games, and pretend-play in a pie shop. All ages are welcome with activities geared for those in Pre-K-2nd graders.
