SENSEI JOHN W . MORGART JR . CONTINUES TO ADD TO HIS ACCOLADES IN MARTIAL ARTS
Irwin sensei John W . Morgart Jr . was just recently promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do under Grandmaster Cynthia Rothrock — 8th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do , Karate , Eagle Claw , Wu Shu , Northern Shaolin and Pai Lum Tao Kung .
Morgart created his own style of martial arts called Wei Son Do and is a high-level competitor and legend in martial arts , winning championship tournaments around the United States , instructing martial arts seminars , volunteering for Kickstart Kids and teaching students martial arts .
In 2021 , he was inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame and earned the Founder of the Year Award for Wei Son Do martial arts . In 2020 , he was featured in the “ Martial Arts Masters & Pioneers ” book alongside Chuck Norris as an ambassador in the martial arts , and featured in “ The World ’ s
Greatest , Volume 21 ” book as one of the world ’ s greatest martial artists .
Morgart was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors for outstanding dedication in the martial arts in 2019 , after being inducted into the American Martial Arts Alliance Legends Hall of Fame the previous year . Back in 2015 , he was featured in the TaeKwonDo Times magazine and became a Notable Practitioner of Tang Soo Do alongside Chuck Norris .
Wei Son Do teaches situational awareness , vital point strikes , joint manipulation , self-defense , close combat , life skills and survival skills .
Morgart is studying varying martial art styles including Tang Soo Do , Tae Kwon Do , Chun Kuk Do / Chuck Norris System , Krav Maga , Judo , Jujitsu , Hapkido , Muay Thai , Kung Fu , Karate , Boxing , Kickboxing , Jeet Kune Do , Tai Chi , Xtreme Martial Arts and Yoga .
He is also training for the opportunity to compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles .
