orwin School District is pleased to welcome the following new staff members for the
2017-2018 school year. They were hired after a comprehensive screening and competitive
interviewing process, which included various teachers and/or administrators as panel
participants. Knowing that Norwin School District has a reputation of being a premier educational
institution, hundreds of interested individuals make application online each year for a limited
number of available professional openings. Congratulations to the following professionals who
have successfully completed a highly competitive process.
ADMINISTRATORS
Mr. Ryan Kirsch, CPA, is the
new Director of Business
Affairs and Chief Financial
Officer for Norwin School
District, having begun
official duties in May 2017.
Mr. Kirsch is a graduate of
Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he
earned a B.S. and M.S. in Safety Science and a
M.B.A. in Accounting. Prior to joining Norwin
School District, Mr. Kirsch served as Business
Manager at Spring Cove School District for 3
years.
Also, Mr. Thomas Wrobleski, the Director of
Human Resources at Norwin School District,
has been assigned additional responsibilities
to oversee the Department of Facilities and
Property Services (Custodial/Maintenance).

Penn-Trafford Star, Norwin Star, Murrysville Star, and Lower Burrell Pennysaver. The
Westmoreland Intermediate Unit coordinates this listing and publication on behalf
of its member school districts.
