Summer STEM Camps at Norwin
Dozens of elementary and secondary students had the opportunity to participate
in 16 summer STEM camps created and instructed by District teachers, including, but
not limited to, It’s Never Too Early for STEM, Baseball Math, and Camp Invention for
elementary students; Advanced Robotics and Alternative Energy for Middle School
students; and SCUBA Diving and Alice programming for High School students.

Above & Below: A new Alternative Energy
Camp provided students in grades 6-8
with indoor & outdoor activities focusing
on solar, wind and hydroelectric energy
resources. There was lab work and hands-on
construction of solar race cars, solar ovens,
wind turbines and hydroelectric models.
