Extended Shelf Life
Mondays, June 10, 17, 24 and July 1, 8,
15, 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.
What happens to library books that are
taken out of the collection? Help us
repurpose and upcycle discarded books
into something new! No registration is
required for this teen program, open to all
ages 11-18.
Lego Club!
Mondays, June 10, 17 and 24 from 10
to 11 a.m.
All school-aged children (K-5) are
welcome to come join us on Mondays for
an hour of engineering and Lego fun! No
registration required.
Tail Waggin’ Tutors
Mondays, June 10 & 17 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Read to a therapy dog! Children in
kindergarten through fifth grade will get
10 minutes to read to a therapy dog. Bring
your own book or use one of ours. Please
call the CATS desk at 412.366.8100,
option 4, to register each available
morning. Number of open slots will
depend on number of available dogs.

Picture Book Picnic

at 11 a.m.
Bring a blanket, pack your lunch and
listen to stories while you eat! Storytime
will be held outside on sunny days and in
our meeting rooms if it is stormy (or too
hot!) out. No registration required!
Evening Mother Goose
Baby & Toddler
Wednesdays, June 12, 19 and 26
at 6:30 p.m.
Babies and toddlers are invited to bring
their grown-up along for 20 minutes
of songs, nursery rhymes, tickles and
bounces. No registration needed for this
drop-in program.
Thursday Under the Tree
Thursdays, June 13, 20 and 27 from
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Each Thursday we will try our hand at
some crafts, science experiments, and
other tinkering types of activities. Drop
in for some fun under our very own tree
in the Children’s Department. Children
of all ages are welcome to be makers,

Artificial Intelligence Coding Camp
Saturdays, June 15, 22 and 29 from 3
to 4:30 p.m.
Students 12 years of age and up will
learn the basics of coding for Artificial
Intelligence from Prahlad Menon,
PhD, Director of the MedCaVE Lab.
Registration for this program is open.
Week 1: Setting up for writing code
