Ross Edmondson took off in his modified Cessna 182 from the Zelienople Municipal Airport in May 2019 for a trip around the world . Though he spent years planning this adventure , he couldn ’ t have foreseen a pandemic that would change everyone ’ s travel plans .
He had reached Australia when the pandemic began to shut everything down . He was , unfortunately , forced to abandon his plane , eventually to return at a much later date . He finally completed his circumferential mission on June 30 , 2023 , landing at Zelienople Municipal once again — to cheers and
