Zacharia Brown , Migliaro Consulting , Alzheimer ’ s Association of Greater Pennsylvania and Parkinson Foundation Western Pennsylvania are proud to present our second annual caregiver symposium , Learn , Care , Share .
We are excited to be bringing this free event to the North Hills communities this year to provide attendees with many opportunities to take a deeper dive into the resources and supports that are available to those caring for an aging parent or loved one .
The morning will begin with a fantastic speaker lineup on the topics of : planning and paying for long-term care , including available benefits ; practical caregiving tips for someone with dementia , community caregiver support and resources ; and self-care and wellness for the caregiver .
After the speaker sessions , attendees will have the opportunity to visit with a variety of vendors who can answer questions and provide information on benefits , resources , and services for both caregivers and their loved ones . Finally , all attendees will have access to a “ Relaxation Room ” where there will be opportunities to unwind and destress in a calming environment .
