Did you know this year marks 50 years of
Earth Day? Spend this day of action and
citizenship learning how you can reduce,
reuse and recycle with informative and
interactive programs for all ages.

Adventure-seekers in middle and high
school are welcome to join us for a

Animation Hour-and-a-Half
Thursdays, April 9 & 23; May 13
& 28; June 11 & 25 from 3 to
4:30 p.m. (Second and fourth Thursday
each month)
Animation fans in middle and high
school can join us to watch old favorites
and new releases, chat about our favorite
characters and stories, and make some
crafts. No registration required. Ages
12 and up.
NEW! Northland Teen Gender and
Sexuality Alliance (GSA)
Tuesdays, April 21; May 19; June 16
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Third Tuesday
each month)
Come hang out with a group of
LGBTQIA+ friends and allies to have fun,
be your true self, strengthen community,
and of course eat snacks! No registration

A rollicking evening of “Minute-to-Win-
It” style games with a financial literacy
theme for families with children in
kindergarten and up. (No, really! We
promise it will be way more fun than it
sounds!) This family night of financial
fun is designed to get the ball rolling on
teaching kids about money.
Silly Sunday
Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m.
Explore a mix of silliness with stories,
songs, and activities that don’t necessarily
go together and are a bit crazy.

A 30-minute storytime for children ages 3
to 5 and their caregivers to enjoy stories,
songs, rhymes, and rhythms.
Something’s Going On in the Garden
Saturdays, April 11; May 13; June 9
at 10 a.m.
Something different is happening every
second Saturday of the month that the
garden is open. What will it be? An art
experience? Yoga for kids? Reading to
miniature horses? Worm races? Show up
dressed for the weather and come to the
Learning Garden to find out.

Come have fun with music, stories, and
simple instruments as we get our groove
on at this creative storytime under the
tree in the Children’s Picture Book Area.

Mother Goose Babytime
Tuesdays, May 5, 12, 19 at 10 a.m.
Stories, rhymes, tickles, parachute fun,
and bubbles for babies up to 12 months
old and a caregiver. This 20-minute baby-
centered storytime ends with a chance for
babies and grown-ups to socialize!
