EVERYONE DESERVES A
CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL
NEIGHBORHOOD
Join the Great American Cleanup of PA
Cleaning up your neighborhood is one
of the best investments you can make.
Whether you have vacant lots plagued
with debris, natural areas that are dumped
on, or litter blown from down the street,
any neighborhood can be lifted up by
positive action.
The 15th annual Keep Pennsylvania
Beautiful Great American Cleanup of PA
can help get you started. Through May
31, thousands of Pennsylvania families
and friends will partake in litter and
illegal dump cleanups, beautification
projects such as tree and flower plantings,
recycling collections and education
programs.
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful partners
with PennDOT, the Department of
Environmental Protection, and Keep
America Beautiful to provide free trash
bags, gloves, and safety vests to registered
participants, as supplies last. During Let’s
Pick It Up PA—every day from April 13
through May 6—cleanups registered
with the Great American Cleanup of
PA are eligible to take their trash to
participating landfills free of charge or for
a reduced rate.
Registration can be done online
at www.gacofpa.org. Michelle Dunn,

SOCCER CAMPS AT LA
ROCHE COLLEGE
For more than two decades, the La
Roche World Class Soccer Camps
have given local youth an opportunity
to develop their soccer skills at one of
the best facilities in the North Hills.
Held during five weeks each summer,
these day camps provide children ages
4 to 16 with coaching by licensed high
school and college coaches. In addition,
icmags.com
campers get to experience the fun of
being on a college campus, including the
outstanding food of La Roche’s cafeteria.
Proceeds from the camp help to offset the
cost of the La Roche College women’s
soccer team’s trips to Europe. For more
information, contact Coach Miguel at
