Tatiana Sinelnikova has
always been passionate about
helping her peers, thanks to
her mentor and big sister, Anna, founder
of HOPE with Us.
Tatiana, 15, is Cabinet Head of
Principal Advisory as part of Student
Council at North Allegheny Intermediate.
She’s been involved in Student Council
since 6th grade and served as Vice
President in 8th grade. She also studies
piano and ballet, and has been the
accompanist for the school chorus
since 6th grade. She is also a part of the
Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs,
Inc. and attends Grove City College
every year for a piano evaluation—and
this year won first place in the piano solo
performance. In the community, Tatiana
volunteers by teaching classical ballet and
piano at The Art of Music & Dance, Inc.
“Although most students dread the
idea of high school, my experience so
far has only brought me positivity and
motivation to strive forward, which
mostly comes from my favorite class of
the day, calculus,” she says.
HOPE with Us (Helping Others by
Performing for Enjoyment), a local

organization is made up of local students
ranging from elementary to high
school age, generally within the North
Allegheny School District. They engage
in performing at a variety of venues
including nursing homes to provide
entertainment for residents, or concerts
