etting a massage is a personal journey; one that the
massage therapists at Elements Massage understand
well. Where one person may desire a strong, deep-tissue
massage, someone else may prefer a therapist with a
lighter, more sensitive touch.
That’s why Elements Massage “changes the game” for massage
enthusiasts by matching them up with massage therapists who
will complement their expectations. Clients who call in to make an
appointment are screened to determine what their needs and wants
are. They are then paired up with the massage therapist who will
best meet those needs. To ensure that
everyone at Elements Massage is on
the same page, every staff member
receives a monthly massage from one of
the therapists so everyone knows each
other’s style, technique and strengths.
With two locations, in Wexford and
Peters Township, Elements Massage’s
approximately 20 massage therapists are
never far away. Convenient membership
options make getting a massage easier
than it’s ever been. Clients can book appointments in 60- or 90-minute
increments and receive their choice of deep tissue, sports, prenatal,
hot stone, massage therapy, Swedish massage, aromatherapy or
Himalayan salt stone massage. Appointments can be made online or
over the phone.
If you become a member, you receive one massage on a monthly
basis, with any additional massages charged at the discounted
member rate. Memberships can be split with someone—spouse,
friend, relative—and joint members can divvy up their benefits
however they wish. Elements Massage also has walk-in rates for those
who need just an occasional massage. Everyone’s first visit is charged
at the discounted membership rate so they can easily experience
the Elements difference themselves before deciding. There are also
gift cards available for that person in your life who could use some
relaxation.
Owned by Donna and John Blough, Elements Massage has been in
Wexford since 2015 and the new
Peters Township location since
April. The two became business
owners when they decided to
leave their jobs at Heinz to take
a chance on entrepreneurship.
So far, it has been more than
successful for the couple.
“Massage is something that’s
healthful and good for people,”
says John. “The fact that we would
be helping people with pain
issues—helping them achieve
enjoyment and relaxation—that
was something we felt good
about.”
“We keep everything family
friendly,” adds Donna, “and we do
that because we want everyone
to feel like they are part of our
family. We strive to have great
relationships with all of our clients
and present
a calm and comfortable
environment for them to relax in.”
