WHAT’S NEWS IN NORTH ALLEGHENY
5TH ANNUAL CHARITY
LEMONADE STAND
This year’s charity lemonade stand,
hosted by Jen Braim and Charlene Cottrell,
took place on July 15 on Scarlet Circle
in Pine Township. The event marked the
community’s 5th annual charity lemonade
stand, and all proceeds benefited Alex’s
Lemonade Stand.
“We served close to nine gallons of
homemade lemonade and neighbors
contributed baked goods, so everyone got a
cookie this year,” said Braim. “Additionally,
Walmart gave us a gift card for lemons, Moe’s
provided cups/lids and Eat’n Park donated
Smiley cookies.”
Several people from other neighborhoods
attended the event to make a donation and
over $1,500 was raised for Alex’s Lemonade
Stand. Also, the Wexford Volunteer Fire
Department made an appearance on the way
to Pine Community Day and gave kids a tour
of the truck.
