Not All Hospitals Are Created Equal
There’s a lot of talk these days about health systems building what
they call “micro” or “neighborhood hospitals” miles away from
their main facilities in Pittsburgh.
But while they may call themselves hospitals, in the final analysis,
not all hospitals are created equal.
Do they have operating rooms? Intensive care unit? Can they
perform emergency cardiac catheterization or bypass should
you need it? Are they a designated primary stroke center?
And if your condition or injury requires any level of advanced care,
will a trip through a tunnel be part of your treatment plan?
At Excela Health, we offer a spectrum of care that is complete,
connected and convenient for residents of Westmoreland County.
We know that all hospitals aren’t created equal. And so should you.
