eventeen Franklin Regional School District teachers
earned their credentials to become 2019 Project
Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch Teachers. The teachers

science modules to gain a conceptual understanding
of the engineering design process under the leadership
of credentialed Launch Lead Teachers Ms. Renee Ryan,
Ms. Megan Melucci, and Ms. Carmen Loughner. Franklin
Regional offers an award-winning science program,
which is enhanced by PLTW through the integration of
technology and cross-cutting concepts.
PLTW provides transformative learning experiences for
PreK-12 students and teachers across the U.S. by creating
an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and
empowering students to develop in-demand knowledge
and skills they will need to thrive. PLTW also provides
teachers with the training, resources, and the support they
need to engage students in real-world learning.
