FALL 2016

JEANNETTE

The former Jeannette Hospital property was sold to the owners of The Palms at O’ Neil, a personal care home in McKeesport, who have plans to provide a similar facility here.

CONNELLSVILLE FLOOD

A dozen Excela employees were impacted by serious flooding in Connellsville, Fayette County, in late August. The Excela Health Employee Charitable Trust Fund along with three area rotaries pulled together to help those employees whose homes were damaged. Donations of food, cleaning supplies and Walmart gift cards were delivered – and so was help for the clean-up.

Our Wellness Checks are an affordable community multiphasic blood analysis available to all community members. Excela Health partners with the Rotary, Kiwanis and volunteer fire departments to present these screenings as a benefit to our community and those we serve. Remaining Wellness Checks: check
