FAIRS, FESTIVALS AND FUNDRAISERS
AUGUST FUN FEST

This festival features a variety of food, entertainment and children’ s activities that make it an exciting event for the whole family.
GREAT PYRENEES CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
When: August 31 Where: Edgewood Country Club, 100 Churchill Road, Churchill For more info: swpapyr. org
This golf tournament, sponsored by the Great Pyrenees Club of Western PA, raises funds to help the club rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Great Pyrenees and other large dogs that are owner surrendered or in local shelters.
INTERNATIONAL VILLAGE

McKeesport’ s regional-favorite heritage festival celebrates sights, sounds and tastes from around the world. Food booths and on-stage performances represent various countries.
JEREMY DENTEL MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

This event is held in honor of Jeremy, who died tragically in 2022. He was very involved with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, which established the Jeremy Dentel Emergency Medical Fund in his honor. The fund helps underwrite the cost of care for animals recovering from abuse, neglect, or injuries suffered from a traumatic event.
MONROEVILLE FOUNDATION JAZZ FESTIVAL

This festival showcases and celebrates Pittsburgh’ s jazz legends and upand-coming artists alongside national talent. The free concert is a tradition that promotes awareness and appreciation for all forms of jazz.
PA ARTS & CRAFTS LABOR DAY FESTIVAL

More than 200 indoor and outdoor exhibits will provide lots of shopping options at this festival. There will also be many delicious foods, activities for kids, and live music.
PITTSBURGH RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

This annual event has a lot to offer— with music, magic and merriment for all ages! Entertainment will come from all corners of the realm, the food will reflect a feast fit for a king, and the marketplace will feature more than 100 shops with unique handmade wares.
RENZIE RIB FEST

The Renzie Rib Fest is known for attracting many of the region’ s top barbeque vendors. The Lions Bandshell, home to the summer concert series, will host daily free concerts as well.
WESTMORELAND ARTS & HERITAGE FESTIVAL

This nationally acclaimed festival offers the best in visual and live performing arts, traditional and fine crafts, cultural heritage activities, humanities, and ethnic foods.
WESTMORELAND FAIR

The Westmoreland Fair has everything! Enjoy events like demolition derbies and bottle rocket competitions along with farm animals to admire and plenty of fair food, of course!
