On the Menu : With a specialty in hamburgers ( all served on toasted bakery-style buns ), French fries , hot dogs and milkshakes , there ’ s also chicken , classic or boneless wings , and fish . The menu begins with The Big Buford ( featuring two large , 100-percent-beef patties with melted American cheese , lettuce , tomato , red onion , dill pickles , ketchup , mustard and mayo ), The Baconzilla ( comes with four slices of crispy bacon , American and cheddar cheeses , ketchup and mustard ), Cheese Champ ( say no more ) and the Smoky BBQ Bacon Buford , which features Swiss cheese , smoked bacon , sweet and smoky BBQ sauce , and smoky mayo . The all-beef , grilled Chili Dog is steeped in meaty chili , diced red onions , ketchup and mustard , while the classic Grilled Hot Dog is served on a toasted bun with traditional condiments . If fish is your craving , there ’ s the Deep-Sea Double sandwich featuring two crispy fish filets , American cheese , iceberg lettuce and tartar sauce .

What led you to become the general manager at Rally ’ s ? I was working in construction and decided to leave . Applying to Rally ’ s was a spur-of-the-moment decision , but it was the best one I have ever made . My boss acknowledged my hard work and told me I would be great as the general manager and I love the responsibility . When I came here in late August of last year , there were a few changes that could have improved the work environment . After implementing these changes , I ’ ve been told the staff liked what was happening . There ’ s always something that needs to be done and there is always room for improvement . I love the fast-paced environment .
Describe Rally ’ s . Most of the employees have been here since the store opened in October 2019 — which says a lot . They care about the quality of the food . They care about our customers and the consistency of our product . We do what we can to make our customers ’ next visit that much

better . As the only Rally ’ s location in the area , we strive to make it the best place for people when choosing where to eat .
What influences your love of the food business ? As I continue to grow , I always knew I loved starting at the bottom and to do what you have to do to get to the top . It ’ s nice to work with people who work as a team . Our customers say they love our food and that makes me happier than anything .
What ’ s your favorite item on the menu ? The Baconzilla comes as a double — it ’ s my favorite burger . Some of our customers ’ favorite menu items are the Funnel Cake Fries and a lot of our cold desserts like our chocolate , strawberry or banana shakes to our Cheesecake Sundae with a cheesecake filling . People love our desserts .
What ’ s your favorite go-to ingredient ? I love cooking for other people , but since I work long days , I don ’ t get to cook as often as I would like . My favorite thing to cook is eggplant parmesan . Anything eggplant is my favorite . I use oregano , basil and Italian seasoning . When I make chicken , I use lemon pepper — that ’ s definitely one of my favorite go-to ingredients . When it comes to burgers , I learned a burger recipe from my mother , Michelle . Her secret is to load it with Worcestershire sauce — it ’ s so delicious .
What ’ s the next big food or dining trend ? With COVID-19 having a huge impact on the food industry , it gave a lot of places that didn ’ t offer outside dining an opportunity to grow in that capacity . The effects of the pandemic will last for a while — even as COVID is diminishing , takeout is still increasing . People love being able to order it ahead of time , pick it up and be on their way . n
