children at heart!) under the tent. Activities include face
painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, special guests and

Let your pooch cool off in the Boyce Park Wave Pool on
Labor Day! Dogs must wear current tags displaying up-to-
date vaccinations prior to entering the pool. Although each
dog may be accompanied by two guardians (additional
guardians $5 each), only one dog per guardian will be
admitted. Register on the website.
Star Party at Murrysville Park

Join the Amateur Astronomers Association of
Pittsburgh for a Star Party! Guests will be able to view
the sky through the privately owned telescopes of
volunteer members from the AAAP. This is a free event
but registration is required. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket,
bug spray, and your curiosity. Cloudy skies and rain will
cause the event to be canceled. Members of the public
are encouraged to bring their own telescopes and ask
