  There are lots of exciting things happening in Murrysville and the Community Center is one of them! Located at 3091 Carson Avenue (two blocks from Route 22), the Murrysville Community Center has recently undergone a renovation. Visitors will notice: • New paint and decorative stone on the walls in the Main Room. • Updated restrooms. • New flooring in the Main Room and Senior Center. • In-house audio-visual system that includes a projector, screen, speakers, wireless microphones, and laptop connections. And best of all, free wi-fi! • The main parking lot was resurfaced and additional parking was added at the rear of the building for a total of over 80 parking spaces. • The building’s exterior was refurbished and new landscaping was installed around the building. The Community Center is perfect for your next birthday, retirement, graduation, memorial service, anniversary party, bridal or baby shower. Even your next office or company meeting could be held at the Center. The Community Center is also a great location for educational events, seminars, and organizational meetings. The Main Room measures 38' x 80' with seating for 120 and offers a level entryway with no steps. Restrooms are conveniently located in the Main Room, as well as tables and chairs in a side storage area. The kitchen houses a convection oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, 50 cup coffee pot, warming oven, and serve ware. Alcohol Permits for beer and wine are also available. And, you can either bring your own caterer or select from a list provided by the Municipality. Payments accepted are cash and checks; however, credit cards are accepted with reservations booked on-line ($5 service fee applies). The 2016 rates are as follows: Main Room (includes kitchen) Monday through Friday $30 for the first hour; $15 for each subsequent hour. Security Deposit: $75 (returned to renter if Center is left in good condition). Alcohol Permit Fee: $25; Deposit $200 (returned to renter if Center is left in good condition). Weekend Rate (Friday night through Sunday) $50 for the first hour; $20 for each subsequent hour. Security Deposit: $75 (returned to renter if Center is left in good condition).
