HOLOCAUST CENTER OF PITTSBURGH GENERATIONS
SPEAKERS SERIES: DEBBIE LEUCHTER STUEBER

She was born in Bruchsal, Germany. He was born in Vienna,
Austria. As hidden children, their paths crossed briefly in a
French orphanage, not knowing that they were destined
to meet again. This is just the beginning of their story,
separately and together: surviving the Holocaust, fighting
Nazis in the underground resistance, and making a new life in
America. This is the true story of Kurt and Edith Leuchter, as
told by their daughter Deborah Stueber (Kurt and Edith will
be joining live via Skype). Presented by the Holocaust Center
of Pittsburgh, South Hills Jewish Pittsburgh, the Jewish
Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, and the Jewish
Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. Registration required at

LEARN TO CROCHET CHEVRONS AND WAVES

Robyn Chachula, crochet author, teacher and designer, will
teach the crochet techniques needed to master these fabrics.
This class is for the beginner-level student who is familiar
with how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet. Ages
10 and above. Registration required.
